Starting a strong business takes a big investment of time, patience, and money. The Intersect Fund offers small start-up loans to help you on your way toward business ownership.

The steps to getting an Intersect Fund loan:

Direct Loans

You may apply for a Direct Loan from the Intersect Fund. Because this option involves no oversight from your fellow entrepreneurs, you will have to meet with the Intersect Fund staff on a regular basis so they can determine whether your business (or business idea) can benefit from a loan. For a direct loan, the Intersect Fund may require a credit check, a background check, collateral, or other guarantees of your ability to repay the loan. These loans amounts start at $500 ranging to $5,000 with interest rate ranging from 8 to 15 percent, decided on a case-by-case basis. Once you repay your first loan, you can apply for another of double that amount.
